Electronics Integration.
DOMTEKNIKA integrates electrical and electronic functions into the mechanical architecture of products and demonstrators.
Discuss your requirementsTechnical insight
Electronics integration also depends on mechanics.
Integrating a board, sensor or motor requires space for connections, mounting and operating conditions. The mechanical enclosure also influences access, wiring and heat removal. These interfaces need defining as part of the product architecture.
| Interface | The detail often missed | Define together |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply | Current at start-up or during an action can differ from average consumption. | Operating modes, current peaks and connections. |
| Space and access | A connector needs room to be plugged in; replaceable components need access. | Reserved volumes, cable routing and assembly sequence. |
| Heat | Power losses heat components; the board and enclosure contribute to the thermal path. | The environment, heat to remove and its path to the outside. |
Takeaway
To scope integration, gather available component data sheets, use scenarios and enclosure constraints. Electronics, software and testing responsibilities can then be assigned clearly within the project.

A challenge, a real project
Transparent showcase clock
Telling the time without a visible central pivot.
The transparent clock combines peripherally driven discs with automatic atomic-clock synchronisation. DOMTEKNIKA developed the complete electrical and mechanical concept, coordinated the design study and built a working prototype with moulded gear segments. Integration makes the product’s visual principle possible.
View projectWhen to involve us
Make mechanics, power supply and control work together.
- Add an electrical function to a product
- Develop an electromechanical demonstrator
- Resolve interfaces between components and mechanics
Our approach
Development begins with the required functions and interfaces: power supply, control, components and packaging. Integration is considered alongside the mechanics to create a coherent, accessible system.
Define functions
Clarify power, control and interfaces.
Integrate components
Plan packaging, assembly and access within the product.
Verify the system
Test functions and refine integration.
What you receive
- Functional architecture and interfaces
- Component integration into the product
- Prototype and functional checks within the agreed scope
Our projects include electric mobility architectures and an automatically synchronised clock. Development depth, testing and preparation for production are defined around each project.
We agree the scope, tests and deliverables with you before work begins.
Practical questions.
Can you work with our electronics team?
Yes. We can focus on interfaces and mechanical integration, coordinating with your project teams or partners.
What information should we prepare?
Required functions, selected components, power constraints and available drawings. We then define the necessary development work and checks.
For our first conversation
.Which functions would you like to integrate?
Tell us about the required functions, components and power or enclosure constraints. We can define the interfaces and the checks needed.
- Your objective and how the product will be used
- What you already have: an idea, drawings or a prototype
- Your technical constraints and target date
Your information is treated confidentially.
